It is written in the style called “Darkpo” (men’s music) and has a 12\/8 swing feel that harkens to blues shuffle. It is orchestrated by L. Leon Pendarvis (or Blues Brothers and SNL fame), and was done in installments for approval from the composer while Valerie N. was in Accra. Fumaa Bwiche Naamwin Je was performed by Valerie Naranjo with the Enid Symphony in 2012 and 2016, and by Valerie with the National Symphony of Ghana during the August 2018 and June 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis item is the solo part only.
