Highland Hills Middle School
The following list contains the items that you will need as part of the Floyd Central High School and Highland Hills Middle School Band percussion programs. This list is structured so that you may purchase these items with minimal effort and use them throughout up to eight years of instruction as part of the band program(s). The products on this list are professional-quality and, if properly cared for, are designed to last throughout the student’s middle and high school percussion studies.
I strongly recommend purchasing ALL of the items on this list, and I do not encourage substitutions. By purchasing this equipment, students will have a solid foundation for their percussion studies while minimizing the need for additional purchases in the future. The list below includes everything students will need for their first year of percussion, with the exception of their mallet kit rental and other materials supplied by the school. Please reach out to me with any questions!
It is recommended that all Symphony Orchestra percussionists have their own personal mallets for rehearsal (Beg-Intermediate levels)
