Evans EC2 SST Marching Tenor Drumhead - 14"

The Evans EC2 SST 14" Marching Tenor Drumhead is built for the largest drum on marching quads, quints, or sextets, and engineered to meet the tension and durability requirements of competitive marching percussion. Used across marching band, drumline, indoor percussion, and outdoor competition, this head brings the same focused tone and projection to the bottom of the tenor line that the EC2 SST series delivers across all sizes.

Two matched 7mil plies combine for a total thickness of 14mil, giving the head the attack and durability needed to last through a full season on the field and in the gym. The specially designed hoop profile is built to handle the high-tension demands specific to marching percussion, and Evans Sound Shaping Technology (SST) controls overtones so the fundamental pitch stays clear and focused at any volume. As with every size in the series, the SST damping ring is calibrated to the 14-inch diameter, part of Evans's size-specific design approach that keeps every drum in the set sounding its best from top to bottom.
