Description
They Said started as a project born out of the pandemic in 2020. We wanted to create a dialogue between instruments that are not typically used in the same setting, a concert snare drum and marching tenors. We each wrote phrases and traded back and forth until the piece felt complete. We debuted They Said at PASIC 2021.
