If you are tired of the other snare wires on the market, try Black Swamp Dynamicx Snare Unit - Curly Snare Wires. These snares are the best snare wires I have tried in years. Cord or plastic strap/gross grain ribbon works great. These are crispy and responsive. I am currently running these on my black brass shell drum and my copper shell drum. They really are lively and sound best at medium tension. Both drums sound better with Dynamicx wires. The wires are nicely made and a nice addition if you want to change up your current set up.
