Houllif-Octaphonics(SP)-2B/2V/2X/2M

Octaphonics is an advanced mallet percussion octet by Murray Houllif. Scored for two bells, two vibraphones, two xylophones, and two marimbas, the piece is designed to make use of the spatial and timbral possibilities of eight mallet players performing in stereo, with the doubling of each instrument type creating a rich, layered sound field.
