Thoroughly disappointed.

I agree with Joe's review, in that I love the way these brushes sound, and I love the way they feel in the hands. Unfortunately though, my experience with these wasn't nearly as positive overall; from the first time I used these brushes, I've had problems with the wires just falling off of the shaft. I would finish playing and find wires scattered around the kit, every single time. I don't believe I'm a heavy hitter by any means, so this was incredibly surprising. I was able to get a replacement pair sent to me for no extra charge, which was really nice, but the replacement pair immediately did the exact same thing. I gave up at this point. Out of the big stick companies, Vic Firth still reigns supreme in my opinion. Or you can check out one of the many smaller stick/mallet companies out there, like Salyers or Facus Drum Innovations. Just don't get these.
