I've had this snare drum for close to a year now, and everything has been great with it. The tone it produces is quite dark and I'm very happy with my selection. The dual snare strainer / adjustment knobs are quite helpful for achieving a perfect snare sound, and with how affordable the drum is in comparison to other brands, it's a great buy!

I'm really puzzled why this drum is so cheap. The smooth snare throw-off, the look, the sound, the quality, everything seems comparable to $900-$1200 drums I've played. This drum sounds GREAT. It is REALLY worth the money, especially for a 6.5" vs. 5". One of the best purchases I've made for my program.
