Menke-Dunkler Herbst-B/V/3M SP

Dunkler Herbst by Manfred Menke is a quintet for glockenspiel, vibraphone and three marimba, was created shortly after the 11th September 2001 and is nothing more than his musical commentary, which extends over a little more than three minutes of commemoration.

The music reflects the mood after the attack on the Twin Towers of New York, which is probably the same all over the world when war has been played somewhere again. Not just a piece of wonderful music for my ears, as it also says in Dr. Read John Baldwin (USA) who wrote to me after his first rehearsal with his students.
