This politically and emotionally charged piece from Brett William Dietz is titled Panic. Each movement is given its title based on something the composer heard or saw in the news. For example, the movement entitled "...we are pursuing our enemies " is taken from President George W. Bush's 2005 State of the Union speech. Written for solo marimba and 4 percussion. Panic was commissioned by Peter Martin and Exit Nine Percussion Ensemble.
