Overall, this stick is a versatile one to have in your stick bag. Like the description, it is a great general stick that can be used for both concert and rudimental playing, from quiet and delicate to loud and stronger snare parts. I personally have also never been a huge fan of barrel tip drumsticks, but the weight and feel of this stick make the barrel head work really well! I would recommend giving it a try, especially for the price!
