Stahmer-Tre Paesaggi(S-n3)-P/B-VX/GT/Tape

Tre Paesaggi is a chamber work for speaking voice (Sprechstimme), guitar, percussion, and tape by German composer and musicologist Klaus Hinrich Stahmer (b. 1941), composed in 1976. The piece sets texts by the Italian poet Cesare Pavese, whose work is known for its lyrical yet stark portrayal of solitude, landscape, and the tension between nature and human experience. Stahmer's setting combines live performance with tape, a characteristic feature of his compositional approach during this period, and the work was recorded for Bayerischer Rundfunk with Claudia Brodzinska (Sprechstimme), Siegfried Behrend (guitar), and the percussionist Siegfried Fink.
