The Toca Talking Djembe 10" is a unique hybrid hand drum dreamed up by Toca. It's shaped like a djembe, but also equipped with a full talking drum cord tension system that lets you bend the pitch as you play. If you've ever wanted the projection and tonal depth of a djembe combined with the speech-like inflections of a talking drum, you'll have fun playing around with this. The highly durable, lightweight synthetic shell and rubber non-slip base make this drum suitable for many situations, including drum circles and classroom teaching. You can play it with your hands like a djembe, or tuck it under your arm and play using the included talking drum beater.
