Traveling Distances by Jennifer Hotz is a lively duet for Panderio and Riq. This piece is the fusion of traditional Middle Eastern and Brazilian rhythms based on either their meaning, tempo and/or patterns. The rhythms utilized for each instrument are as follows: Riq - Malfouf, Masmoudi, Masmoudi Saghir, (Baladi), Al Rumba, Dawr Hindi. Panderio - Baiao, Samba/Choro, Partido Alto, Afoxe, Samba.
