Description
Springtime is an unaccompanied vibraphone solo by German composer and percussionist Werner Treiber, published by Musikverlag Zimmermann Frankfurt. Written for four mallets, the piece is meditative and melodic in character, with a lyrical, introspective quality. Treiber studied at the Meistersinger Conservatory in Nuremberg and has worked extensively as a percussionist, vibraphonist, and educator in southern Germany, with radio, television, and CD credits across a range of jazz ensembles. Springtime represents the more contemplative side of his output.
