Equipped with four additional splitable trigger inputs—allowing for up to nine total triggers—and an 8-in/10-out USB audio interface, the EAD20 offers exceptional flexibility and expandability for both studio and stage applications. Built-in Kit Modifier knobs, paired with the free EAD Touch App, enable drummers to make real-time adjustments to gain, reverb, and other effects seamlessly during performance. The system also incorporates features introduced in the EAD50, such as recording, sampling, and loop creation, empowering drummers to enhance their creativity and elevate their performances.

The improved sensor unit attaches effortlessly to virtually any acoustic bass drum hoop, ensuring a high-quality stereo image of the entire kit. Beyond its microphone functionality, the sensor unit includes a dedicated kick-trigger, converting each bass drum strike into a precise trigger signal for the EAD20 module. This allows for seamless layering of samples in perfect sync with acoustic playing.

With six inputs and support for up to nine triggers (via splitters), the EAD20 routes signals to ¼” stereo outputs or a single mono output, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of stages and studios.
