The 16" Weiss Ocean Drum delivers a rich, natural wave effect inspired by the sound of water moving along the shoreline. High-quality spherical steel pellets roll freely between two natural skin drumheads, creating everything from a soft, continuous wash to a more pronounced crashing wave effect as the drum is tilted and moved.

In addition to creating ocean-inspired sound effects, the 16" Weiss Ocean Drum can be played as a seated frame drum. Striking the natural skin head activates the spherical steel pellets inside the drum, producing a unique shaker-like response that blends with the drum's acoustic tone.
